On April 6th at Boston Free Radio at Somerville Media Center, I joined Diane Wong, fellow facilitator, cousin, and wise leader, for a conversation on race reparations, embodied leadership, and identity and the perspectives we both share. I shared my own reflections on my journey into stewarding the learning and healing required in equity and justice work. Listen to the 55 minute episode: "Healing Our Family: Let's Talk About Race."
I chose to do this show because of the similar approach Diane and I share. Together, we have a combined embodied practice of doing racial justice work within a context of healing, holistic psychology, and greater community connectedness. In addition to producing and hosting the show, Diane leads conflict processing, yoga, and healing workshops and frequently facilitates community conversations about race.
